On Nov. 22nd, 2019, Chinese Academy of Engineering officially announced the CAE Academicians List for 2019. Prof. Ninghui Sun from Institute of Computing Technology, CAS has been elected as one of those new Academicians for his contributions to high performance computer research.

 The Chinese Academy of engineering is the highest honorary and advisory academic institution in the field of Engineering Science and Technology in China. Since 1994, the academician system has been established. Academician of Chinese Academy of engineering is the highest academic title in Engineering Science and Technology established by the state, and is a lifelong honor.
