In the aspect of medical and health, as a pivotal member of an interdisciplinary research consortium, we contributed to the development and publication of GeneCompass, a groundbreaking knowledge-informed cross-species gene foundation model. This innovative model has demonstrated remarkable potential in enhancing the efficiency of target gene identification through the seamless integration of in silico simulations with in vivo experiments. GeneCompass pioneers a novel research paradigm, propelled by big data and artificial intelligence, and was featured as the cover article in the December 2024 issue of CELL RESEARCH. What is more, the theoretical research on the molecular characteristics and functions of long non-coding genes was awarded the First Prize in Natural Science at the Beijing Science and Technology Awards, and the key technologies and applications of pervasive intelligent sensing for assisted diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease won the Second Prize of the Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Technology Invention Award.

In the aspect of agriculture, the research team has developed 10 sets of gamma spectroscopy unmanned soil testing equipment, which overcame core technologies such as crystals, weak signal analysis, and adaptive spectrum stabilization. The overall performance of the equipment has been significantly improved compared to foreign competitors, and the price has been correspondingly reduced by about 70%. Utilizing these equipment, more than 500000 acres of soil have been tested in the Hulunbuir area. In cooperation with Shiyan City, Hubei Province, the Intelligent Agricultural Machinery Industrial Zone was invested 125 million yuan in 2024 to build three production lines (soil testing robots, Honghu T70 and Honghu T200) , where the first batch of 20 Honghu T70 intelligent tractors and 30 soil testing robots have been completed, with nearly 200 orders in hand. Fuxi Farm, which is designed based on self-developed models and algorithm libraries, as well as the intelligent agricultural machinery and equipment, has been implemented in Hulunbuir and Xing'an League in Inner Mongolia, Xiong'an in Hebei, Shiyan in Hubei, Neihuang in Henan, Wuhu in Anhui, Changshou in Chongqing and other areas. Among them, Wuhu and Changshou Fuxi Farms were selected as typical cases of national smart agriculture construction by Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MOA)in 2024 (85 cases nationwide), and the corresponding experience "Fuxi Farm: Building a Smart Agriculture Data Base" was selected as one of the second round of 28 "Data Element X" typical cases announced by the National Data Bureau, was included in the "National Smart Agriculture Action Plan (2024-2028)" in order to promote it across the country.
