Dr. Li Wei is an associate researcher and master's supervisor at the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She received the bachelor's degree in engineering from the Department of Electronic Engineering and Information Science, University of Science and Technology of China, in 2005, and the PhD degree from the Institute of Electronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2010, with the guidance from prof. Haigang Yang. She has been engaged in the research of intelligent computing system and field programmable gate array (FPGA) chip design for nearly 20 years. She led or participated in tens of programs, includingsub-program of National Key Research and Development Program, the International Cooperation Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Strategic Priority Research Program of Chinese Academy of Science, etc., She has published more than 30 academic papers, and authorized more than 20 patents. As one of the core designers, she participated in the construction of AI computing systems course and published the textbook "AI Computing Systems", which made up for the gap in the existing systematic textbooks of AI in China's universities. The course has been taught in nearly 100 universities across the country, such as Peking University, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, University of Science and Technology of China, and has trained about 18000 students.
