Dr. Yao is an associate professor in Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences(ICT, CAS). Before joining ICT, he obtained Ph.D. degree in University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Previously he had conducted one year visiting at DMAL, Nanyang Technological University under the supervision of Prof. Gao Cong. He has published 20+ papers on top journals and conferences, such as TKDE, KDD, ICDE, WWW and CIKM. His research interest lies in time series analysis, anomaly detection and causal discovery.
