Dr. Yang Wu is an associate investigator in ICT, CAS. She engaged in the studies of intelligent drug screenings based on the big data for traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and bioinformatics technologies. She built two representative platforms in TCM named SymMap (Nucleic Acids Research 2019) and HERB (Nucleic Acids Research 2021), with both papers are rated as SCI highly cited (top 1%). In total, she has published 27 SCI papers, with more than 2700 cited times over the past 5 years. She is the council member of the big data and artificial intelligence branch of China Medical Association of Minorities, and the Chinese medicine health data branch of China Information Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is also an consulting expert in the direction of intelligent Chinese medicine and ethnic medicine for the Haidian district government in Beijing. She got an excellent researcher award of ICT, CAS in 2020, and an excellent staff of the CUbiCS department of ICT, CAS in 2021.
