Dr. Xiaodong Yang is a Vice Researcher whose current research focuses on pervasive computing and privacy-preserving computing for healthcare. He has developed a series of human activity recognition technologies and applied them to disease diagnosis systems, e.g., Parkinson’s Disease, Stroke and Mild Cognitive Impairment. To preserve the privacy information, he recently studies Federated Learning to build these healthcare AI model. Till now, Dr. Yang has published over 10 papers in top-tier journals and conferences like AAAI, IJCAI, IMWUT, IJHCS, BIBM, et al. He has been supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Key Research and Development Plan of China. He is a member of the executive committee in CCF TCPC. He is also a reviewer for several academic journals like TNNLS, Neurocomputing.
