Dr. Weiqing Min is currently an Associate Professor with the Key Laboratory of Intelligent Information Processing, Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests include multimedia content analysis and food computing. He has authored or coauthored over 40 academic papers in international conferences and journals, including Patterns (Cell Press), ACM Computing Surveys, Trends in Food Science &Technology, IEEE TPAMI, IEEE TIP, IEEE TMM, IEEE TCYB, ACM TOMM, IEEE MM, ACM MM, AAAI, IJCAI, etc. He is ACM MM Asia2019/ACM MM2021/ICME 2022-2023 area chair, and the ACM MM ASIA2022 tutorial chair. He has also served as a TPC member for well-known conferences, such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ACM MM, IJCAI and AAAI. He has served as a guest editor of special issues in several international journals, e.g., IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, IEEE Multimedia Magazine and Neurocomputing. He jointly organized the tutorial Food Computing for Multimedia in ACM MM2020, and he also jointly organized the ICCV2021 workshop on Large-Scale Fine-Grained Food Analysis (https://foodai-workshop.meituan.com/foodai2021.html#index). He is the senior member of IEEE/CCF/Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology (CIFST), and also the senior member of Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology. He is the recipient of 2016 ACM TOMM Nicolas D. Georganas Best Paper Award and 2017 IEEE Multimedia Magazine Best Paper Award. He is also the recipient of 2020 ACM China SIGMM Rising Star Award.
