He obtained B.Eng and Ph.D from the Department of Information Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2008 and 2013, respectively.
In 2017, he went to Purdue University as a visiting postdoctoral fellow for 2 years.
In 2013, he joined the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, as an Assistent professor.
