Xiaoming Sun is a professor at Institute of Computing Technology (ICT), Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the director of laboratory for quantum computation and theoretical computer science, ICT. His research interests span quantum computing, computational complexity, approximation algorithms, and combinatorics. He is currently the director of the CCF Technical Committee on Theoretical Computer Science. He is a member of the steering committee of the COCOON conference and an editorial board member of Information and Computation, SCIENCE CHINA: Information Sciences, JCST, and Frontiers of Computer Science.
