Dr. Wang Zhaoqi is a senior researcher and a doctoral supervisor in Institute of Computing Technology Chinese Academy of Sciences. He serves as a subject expert of the national intelligent manufacturing field, a senior member of China Computer Society, and an expert member of virtual reality and visualization committee. He has achieved a number of important research results which have been widely used in public safety, emergency management, virtual drill and other fields. He has published more than 100 papers including top conferences as ICCV, ECCV, IEEE VR, and SCI journals as IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics, Computer Graphics Forum, SCIENCE CHINA. Because of his outstanding contributions, he has won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress, the first prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress, the second prize of Beijing Science and Technology, the advanced Individual award of Science and Technology in Shanghai World Expo, the advanced individual award of Science and Technology in 2008 Olympic Games.
