Dr. Zang is an Associate Professor at Institute of Computing Technology (ICT), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He is interested in building high performance computing system for compute-intensive applications powered by emerging photonic devices and domain-specific ASICs. His current research focuses on (1) photonic chip design and (2) domain-specific high performance optical computer implementation. He is Senior Member of Chinese Society for Optical Engineering and a Member of ACM. In 2022, he is honored to join Youth Innovation Promotion Association, CAS.
