On the afternnon of April 15, 2009, Professor Wofgang Backé and his wife from RWTH University visited out Institute. Professor Backé is a renowned expert on hydrokinetics, well known not only in Germany but also all over the world. They were warmly received by Professor Li Guojie, Director of ICT and Chief Engineer Xu Zhiwei. After that, Mr. and Mrs. Backé were shown around the Loognson laboratory and Dawning server display area in the company of Chief Engineer Xu. They were amazed at the rapid development of computer technology in China. Professor Backé also expressed his hope that Sino-German scientific and technological exchanges will be further promoted and that ICT will have the chance of dispatching its students and staff to study and work in Germany.
