Founded in 1956, the Institute of Computing Technology (ICT) of Chinese Academy of Sciences was China’s first academic institute specializing in comprehensive research on computer science and technology, giving ICT the distinction of being the cradle of China’s computer industry. ICT, which officially began enrolling graduate students in 1960, is among the first batch of institutions in China to grant master's and doctoral degrees, as well as one of China’s first postdoctoral research stations in the computing field. Currently, ICT’s two postgraduate disciplines in the computing field are Computer Science & Technology, and Cyberspace Security. To date, ICT has trained more than 5,000 doctoral and master's level students, with graduates spread all over the world and becoming the backbone of various industries.
ICT is an excellent learning and research environment. At present, ICT is enrolling international students for various scholarship programs, such as the Chinese Government Scholarship, ANSO Scholarship, UCAS Scholarship and other programs in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Processor Design, and Wireless Communication, as well as accepting visiting postgraduate students.
We welcome applications for postgraduate study at ICT.
